How does AI token billing work?

Different models cost different amounts. Llama on Workers AI edge is ~50x cheaper than GPT-4o. You always see exactly what model you're using and how many tokens it consumed. BYOK users (bring your own API keys) pay their provider directly — no platform AI charges.

What happens when I hit my limits?

You get a 10-20% grace period before a soft block. We'll notify you before anything stops. You can upgrade any time — no downtime, no data loss.

Can I bring my own database?

Yes. Connect Neon, PlanetScale, Supabase, or any Postgres-compatible database via Hyperdrive. BYOD works on all plans, including free.

How does marketplace revenue work?

80% of every payment goes to you. Aerostack keeps 20% to operate the platform. Payouts are monthly, no minimum threshold. You control pricing: free, per-call, subscription, or tiered.

Do you charge for bandwidth?

No. Bandwidth is unlimited on all plans. Our object storage has zero egress charges — one of the reasons we built on Cloudflare's edge.

Can I use Aerostack just for MCP?

Absolutely. MCP workspaces and skills work independently. Create a workspace, add servers, get your gateway URL. Use it from any AI agent or IDE — no need to use the rest of the platform.

What does "usage-gated, not feature-gated" mean?

Every plan has the same features. Workflows, bots, MCP, AI gateway, database, real-time — all available on free. The only difference is how much you can use (request counts, storage, tokens). Free users get the full product, just with lower limits.
